Jagged Edge split - Sensus formed

Jagged Edge have decided to hang up their guns & guitars and seek new musical fulfillment in a few different areas. The boys are great mates and have realised that the time has come to do something different.

Darren Langshaw (Bass) has now formed with Peter Sinanan (Drums) a new band called 'Sensus' www.sensusband.co.uk. with new frontman Steve Rickard and new lead guitarist Baj playing original material. But beware, these guys are going to come at you hard and heavy.

Tony Monk (Guitar / BV's) is going into a writing frenzy and has already started with some amazing hooks and chord structures. Currently he is playing with a few different scales and tunings to come up with something “new”, a very exciting project.

Simon Wood (Guitar L/V's) is into the studio to record his solo album, a project that has been 80% written for some time but never completed. A very special surprise as to who the producer will be on this – watch this space.

Jagged Edge would like to thank the fifth member of the band, You the fans who have relentlessly come to every gig and listened to us for 3 years. A big thank-you give yourselves a huge round of applause and come down for the last few gigs that you will ever see the boys do together again. (apart from the 2010 reunion show at V2010)

We'd also like to say a big thank you to all the bands we have worked with, we hope it's been as much fun for you as it was for us!

We have now found ourselves our new drummer, Peter Sinanan, we are very pleased with what he has accomplished so far.

Our Beloved drummer has taken the plunge! he's no longer with the band to settle down with his new missus, we'd like to wish him all the best for the future. Now who is going to be our drummer number 7? we have a person in mind and will be at the next show which is Saturday 28th April and the Rising Sun in Slough, so until then, no more applicants if you please!
